Quality Control and Risk Monitoring Committees

Composition and Functions

The Quality Control and Risk Monitoring Committees are both internal bodies within CALESAS’ management structure and it is composed by one representative of each consortium partner institution.

The Committes are in charge of implementing all activities planned within WP3, which is fully dedicated to ensuring that project’s objectives are met in the most effective way. 

It is in charge of the following:

✓ Developing a Quality Control and Monitoring Plan, including procedures to be followed and templates to be used by project members during the implementation of all WP activities

✓ Conducting regular meetings in order to monitor and control the quality of activities planned and implemented within the project

✓ Consolidating all individual information provided by each partner’s representative in order to suggest modifications and improvements to project´s processes

✓ Submitting all consolidated information to the coordination of the project, so that project reports are always updated

✓ Developing a Risk Monitoring and Management Plan and suggesting measures to mitigate or
overcome them

✓ Sharing quality control and risk monitoring information with all project members whenever
necessary, including through capacity building sessions

✓ Assisting both external auditors (quality control and financial control) in the performance of
their auditing activities within the project.
 

✓ Developing internal quality control and monitoring reports and submitting them the coordination. 

Quality Control and Risk Management Committee’s Meetings

These committees hold regular meetings twice every year but extraordinary meetings might be called by interesed parties whenever needed.

The main outputs expected from these committees activities are:

a) Quality Management Plan and Templates

b) Risk Management Plan

c) 10 Internal reports

d) External audit
