This activity consists in a Seminar / Webinar / Conference on “Inclusivity Through Gender Neutral Writing and Lecturing for Legal and Academic Fields”.

Vocacy of a cause or study, whether in law or academia, is primarily a field of persuasion of its audience. The use of inflammatory, degrading, and sexist language would distract from the message we wish to share. Further, ever growing in our modern global society is the use of gender neutral language as a form inclusivity and a vehicle to connect to wide array of audiences whose gender identity, sexuality, and sex may differ. Mindfulness, conscientiousness, and sensitivity of these differences would create an inclusive society and its corresponding laws. Thus, a gender neutral language in writings and lectures would encapsulate these ideals
The objective of this activity is to build the multilingual legal research capacity of the Partner Country HEIs. especially in regard to transversal issues such as gender equality.
