Activity 2.2: Seminar on Applying the principles of the Bologna Process to university academic programmes Bologna process.

This is a seminar for the faculties of the Partner Country HEIs on the Bologna process and principles in relation to academic research and a subsequent review of the research components, if any, of their Juris Doctor/Bachelor of Laws and Master’s programs for consistency with the Bologna process.

The quality plan will contain a series of indicators that will be based on a set of quality standards in order to measure the effectiveness, sustainability, impact and satisfaction of the project. Therefore, the quality of the project is addressed in three strategic areas, quality of the agreements with partners, quality of the mobility and academic scientific quality

As one of the Bologna principles is to achieve the incorporation of gender equality in higher education, this seminar will also address the issue of how to incorporate gender content into Juris Doctor/Bachelor of Laws and Master’s programs.  This incorporation may be made either through a specific subject called “Gender and Law” or through specific contents in the syllabus of the law subjects (Civil Law, Criminal Law, Commercial Law …).
